An alternative option to "alt" key

Starting today with a small design I see that there could be a tremendous improvement: i.e I’m using the „Parallels“ tool from the tool panel and if I want to use the tool a second time but with different parameter, then there is the need to press the „alt“ key again in conjunction with the mouse. I think this: instead of pressing the „alt“ key a double click by the mouse could call the appropriate dialog also. Would you like to agree?
