Pallet transparency

Hello...
Been using Real Cadd for several years now, mostly really like it. But I've had the same problem since the beginning; Pallet Transparency.
It's very slick how it fades when you mouse away from it, but I prefer it solid, all the time.
That isn't a problem, I can turn down the transparency to 1, and that keeps it solid. But that preference doesn't save; it always resets to .8 when I quit the program. Grrr.
Perhaps it isn't meant to be a bug, but I certainly find it so.
Any ideas?
