Hi Eric
This is about the Single and Multiple dimension tools. Would it be possible to be able to select the style of the witness lines (in a similar way as selecting the style of arrow)?
For example, I use dashed witness lines rather than solid (probably old-fashioned I know!) to keep them visually separate from the lines making up the drawn objects – like this:
So I don't use the dimensioning tools much, which is a pity because using them speeds thing up a lot!
Cheers -- George

Re: Yet another request
Bonjour George,
I never drawn dimensions like this.
Sometime I did dimensions between axis but they are drawn before the dimensions.
But why not!
This imposes a redesign of the dialog for the dimension prefs.
Cordialement

Yes that's what I do now - draw the dashed witness lines first and then use the measurement tool to provide the dimension – which is a bit of a hassle and slow.Sometime I did dimensions between axis but they are drawn before the dimensions.
But why not!
This imposes a redesign of the dialog for the dimension prefs.
I hoped it wouldn't be a huge redesign ....
Cheers -- George
Edit: One of the strengths of RealCADD is the many ways you can do something, so your drawing preferences can be accommodated
