Copying Edit data

Post by debenriver »

Hi Eric

I wonder if it is possible to be able to copy (and subsequently paste) Edit data – the data in the left hand column.

There's so many times it would be useful to be able to transfer data this way.

For example: you want to trim two lines to the same as another existing radius – if you could just click on the existing radius and then copy and paste it to the fillet pallet this would be great.

I realize that I work (somewhat ridiculously  ) to four places of decimals – so I can never remember the data – I have to write it down if I want to replicate it. It would be great to be able to copy and paste it.

Cheers -- George

Bonjour George,

Historically there is a colon of data and another to enter new values for speed.
Because it was too slow when the data are displayed into the editable textfields.
Perhaps, that this can be changed now. I will test.
Or I can do the data selectable to allow user to copy them.

Thanks

Just the ability to copy it would be great!

It would be nice if they were editable text fields – then the Edit pallet could be just one column wide? But absolutely not at the expense of speed.
