RealCADD 4.21b1

Post by Eric Pousse »

Bonjour,

A beta version of RealCADD 4.21 is available.
This version fixes the limit (127 pixels) of the size of the texts.
The new handles introduced in v4.20 are now displayed when the key "alt" or "option" is down when you move the mouse.
I have made also some internal changes to prepare a new version of the tool that I use to write RealCADD.
So some bugs can be found.

To download it :

Thanks

Hi Eric

Actually I do seem to have a bug with parallel lines. If I put in, say, 800mm, when I click the line to make a parallel line, it goes to 0.8mm. If I click again it seems to go to 0.008mm. Then if I click again it goes to 8mm. Then another click makes it go to 1mm. Then 0.001mm and so on. So clicking the parallel line tool is changing the parallel settings (which you normally access by option-click). It does produce a parallel line, but very close to the original as the changed settings would suggest. I haven't tried it with a real big number - say 8000mm or 80000mm - or with any other numbers other than 8 (because that is what I was doing when I noticed the problem). I will go and see what happens.

:D :D

OK - so 8000 produces 8 and 9000 produces 9. And I think .008 produced .000008 or something - but it looked like 1 - but it was actually 1 x e-6.

I think I'll go back to 4.20 just for the moment ..... Productivity has taken a dive into very small numbers!

Best
