Re: Beta 6...

Hi Hubert I do often draw something small, just a short line usually, specifically to centre a zoom, just as you describe – but it would be nice just to be able to double click on the screen and have the zoom centre on that ... I design sail boats and often the proposal drawings are quite large (li...

Re: Beta 6...

Bonjour Eric Thank you for „double click on the Parallels Tool’s icon“, this speeds up my workflow. Well, now I try to follow generally to draw from left to right or from top to bottom. If this is too tedious then I go to draw at its best and use later ⇧⌘V or ⇧⌘H. If you’ll find a better solution fo...

Re: Beta 6...

Another thing that would be useful (for me anyway) is to be able to establish a temporary "centre" on a drawing so that when you zoom, it zooms around that point. Say a double-click before zooming. Otherwise when you zoom it is very easy to lose track of where you are on the drawing. Hi G...

Re: Polylines - Polygons - topics

Hubert Select the objects (lines. polygons, arcs, bezier curves, etc). Click ⌥⌘L. Click ⌥⌘P. And it's done. To turn it all back to individual lines click ⌥⌘L. If necessary use ⌘J to select all the joined lines and then ⌥⌘P to turn it back to a polygon/polycurve again. But you can't turn arcs, curve...

How to think strange...

Hello Eric It’s very strange. I did more investigations. Allways with copies of the lower polygon (see with thread opening post). — The behavier stays strange, regardless how many copies I made. — All the following was done using the enclosing rectangle for selection. No line object were touched dir...

Re: Hatches...

Hi Hubert It looks as if the two rectangles that you are hatching are incomplete areas. Or you have other bits of unjoined lines left from construction. When that happens, just draw a rectangle, using snap, hatch it and then delete the rectangle. The little rectangles can be coloured white and brou...

Hatches...

Bonjour Eric Please look yourself what happened. The most left hatches (top-right to bottom-left) with the setting 45-6-0-0,25 seem to be ok. The other 2 hatches (top-left to bottom-right) with the same setting but a negative angel (-45°) didn’t work properly, the upper one … ok… but the lower one i...

Color picker

Good morning Eric Ever since antiquity, sculptors have used colored materials and tints to give a lifelike quality… As far as I’d learned to create technical drawings many years ago, without the aid of computers, there was no color, only black at parchment paper. Now with CAD we got a feeling to be ...

Re: Parallels... topics and near it

Good Morning Mike Your are right. But I think it's a pity using the Duplicate and Move tool instead of the Parallels tool, because of there are more settings to do. The Parallels tool is a nice tool and I won't missing it. So I hope Eric is going to improve it. Do you agree :?: ...looking forward fo...

Re: Parallels... topics and near it

Bonsoir Eric

This looks great. I'm sure about it, this will speed up every drawing session.

Thank you for that.
