Re: A new option and a new dialog

Hi Eric But currently it is not easy to choose them because you need to select an object, call Action -> Parallel and click OK to validate the datas which will be used with the drawing tools and option key. I have to find another way. Double-click for the new way Option-click for the old way Would t...

Re: A new option and a new dialog

Bonsoir (heure américaine) Eric I think the possibility to invert the y-direction is a really good move – then users can simply choose their preference which solves all the directional controversy at a stroke! I'm having a bit of trouble with the new parallels. I think the basic principle that you d...

Re: Attributes

I don't know Hubert – don't you think there is a danger of making everything all too complicated? Then you get a Adobe-like program which has so many features that it is hard to learn and somewhat non-intuitive – I'm thinking more of Illustrator than Photoshop here – Illustrator can be a bear to lea...

Re: Circle improvement

Double-click is quite good enough. I think it's better to stay with one method - may be you need later the option key for others... In my previous CAD program a single click to select a tool made it a once-only use, while a double-click gave continuous use until you unclicked it. RealCADD doesn't m...

Re: Circle improvement

You are quite right Mike – logically it should extend to all the shape tools + lines (lines, arc, circle/oval, square/rectangle and rounded rectangle). Which would be really good. Both a double-click and an option-click should bring up the dialogue – which would retain continuity. I'm already using ...

Re: Beta 6...

Hi Hubert The matter is quite complex but not complicate. Better you go to use Excel to calculate. Then it’s your decision what you need to put into the calculation. The most common method uses to split up the shape by triangles and then… The mathematical formulas are not so heavy as you would like ...

Re: Beta 6...

Hi Eric When you zoom with ⌘+ or ⌘-, the zoom is centered on selected object(s). When the rulers are displayed, you can drag the cross at the upper left corner and put the origin where you want. For a lot of my drawings I set x,y = 0, 0 at what is commonly called the zero point in yacht design and c...

Re: Beta 6...

Good evening Hubert! In Photoshop there isn't any need to click somewhere I know, but photoshop is a raster image manipulation program (I do use it a lot for website design) – not a vector CAD program. So images trend to be much smaller in real physical size and everything much fuzzier generally. No...

Re: Beta 6...

Thank you for „double click on the Parallels Tool’s icon“
I think we have a double-click alternative on all the tools with options now – which is very nice :D
